Rope Rug- I want to make this! Any ideas how? I cannot find instructions. Mary- I'm talking to YOU!!

  7. It is great, and big too, lol. And to me it is also a proof ideas can grow simultaneously; I sometimes see people complain about stealing ideas, and one of the ideas in my head was making a doormat with rope, with the half of a pattern of doily, almost like your idea ... it is also a proof it will turn out lovely, as your carpet is just gorgeous :-)

    Did you find a pattern / instructions for this rug? I also played with the idea and started one, but I think I have the wrong kind of rope... This one looks softer than the rope I found here in Windhoek (Namibia). We don't have lots to choose from, so I guess it will have to do ;) Let us know please!
